Abstract
234,184. Spencer, H. E. Feb. 22, 1924. Cruets &c. - A receptacle for mustard comprises a barrel 10 provided with a delivery spout 11 and a flared open end 12 through which a piston 14 is accessible. The piston has one or more grooves 16 in which float one or more packing rings 17 of rubber &c. The under surface of the piston has a recess by which it may be drawn out. This recess may be shaped to engage a special tool. Air holes 18 may be provided in the barrel for the escape of air. The barrel may be enclosed in a removable casing 23 provided with an inturned flange 27. The end of the piston may have a recess 20 to engage a rod inserted through the nozzle to push the piston out of the barrel.
