501,445. Nonconducting-coverings for heat. ELASTAFELT, Ltd., BRUNDRETT, H., and PURVES, H. H. July' 26, 1937, No. 20580 [Class 64 (ii)] In a two-piece padded fabric lagging jacket for hot-water cylinders and tanks comprising a body part a and a cap g, the peripheral flange of. the cap overhanging the main part of the jacket is provided with an elastic cord i. The padding of the cap terminates some distance above the elastic cord. The upper edge of the body part of the jacket is constructed with a bead over which the cap extension is secured. The cap may be independently removed for airing purposes ; additional surface may be exposed by turning down a panel m normally closed by press fasteners o and zip fasteners u. The parts of the jacket may be fastened by the usual hooks and eyes or by lacing.
