552,379. Protective garments. METCALFE, T. E. Oct. 2, 1941, No. 12721. [Class 141] A two-piece suit particularly for wear during exposure to wet and cold conditions comprises a jacket E, Fig. 3, with hood D, and trousers A, Fig. 1, with overshoes B. The jacket is adapted to overlap in front and to be closed by tie strings F, and a draw string G, and its sleeves, 1, H, which are long enough to cover the hands if desired, are provided with elastic wrists J, K. The trousers are provided with openings closed by sliding clasp fasteners at the fly and at the rear of the lower part of the legs, while the feet portions are provided with rubber soles C. The whole suit is made of thin waterproof material, preferably bright yellow in colour, the hood being of khaki-coloured material lined with bright yellow material. When not in use, the whole suit packs into the hood, and is secured by a strap, which, when the suit is in use, is used to support the trousers.
