500,179. Winding spindle apparatus. HOLT, Ltd., T., and HOLT, F. Aug. 25, 1938, No. 25000. [Class 120 (ii)] In winding spindle apparatus wherein the bobbin may lag behind the wharl or other driving-means, the spindle blade and a wharl 17 providing a seating for the bobbin, together constitute an integer to take the weight of the bobbin, and a friction washer 16 is mounted between the wharl and a collar 17 which drives the bobbin by a peg 18. The bobbin is supported by a sleeve 11111 of the wharl which extends above the collar 17..
