[Class 74 (ii)] A circular warp rib machine is provided with two sets of needles 3 arranged at an acute angle to one another and operated alternately, a warp beam carrier 11, two thread feeding rings 9, 10 separate from the carrier 11 and means for actuating the rings 9, 10 to operate alternately with the two needle sets. Teazling devices 8 may be fixed on the inner needle bed 2 of prevent the fabric rising when the needles ascend. To enable the warp threads to be threaded readily into the eyes of the guides 12, 15, the warp rings 9, 10 may be lifted from their bearings by thin wire ropes o.
