494,392. Roofing - tiles. LUDOWICI KOMMANDITGES. AUF AKTIEN, C. Feb. 23, 1938, No. 5682. Convention date, Feb. 1. [Class 87 (i)] An interlocking tile having on its upper face head and side grooves 9, 17 bounded by ribs 7, 8 and 15, 16 is provided at the right-hand end of the groove 9 with a vertical closure rib 1 and a horizontal rib 2. A water channel 6 is arranged adjacent the lower part of the rib 1, and the right-hand part of the rib 8. A hanging rib 23 provided on the lower face of the tile has a rib 23b and grooves 23a, 23c corresponding to the groove 17 and ribs 15, 16 and may have a cut-away part 28. Side and foot ribs 22, 24 and 12, 13 are also provided on the lower face. A rib 27 on the lower face of one tile co-operates with a gap 26 in the rib 8 of another tile.
