Abstract

652,258. Roofing tiles. PRETTY, C. N. Nov. 17, 1947, No. 30487. [Class 87(i)] A roofing tile 10 having rabbeted side edges 11, 12 is formed with a transverse rib 16 at the upper edge on its outer face and with a corresponding groove near its lower edge on its inner face. Drainage grooves 22 and a V-shaped tongue 25 and groove 23 are. provided in the rabbets. The tile is also formed with drainage grooves 26, 27, 28 and 30 at the upper corner of the side edge 12 and with longitudinal grooves 36. The tile is formed with hanging lugs 40 having keyhole slots 41. The inner face of the tile is bevelled at the upper edge.
