Class 87(i) A building block 5 having a tongue 6 and groove 7 on its lower and upper faces respectively and its lower edge with a depending lip 8 is formed with a longitudinal aperture 40 or end recesses Small rounded or angular grooves 9 or rounded tongues and grooves may be provided in the ends of the block. The end faces of the block may be inclined and provided with a depending lip. Corresponding L-shaped corner blocks are provided, with or without end recesses. Another form of block, Fig. 8, is of channel form to receive reinforced concrete.
