Abstract
493,835. Covering cores. FAIRWEATHER, H. G. C. (Compagnie GÚnÚrale d'ElectricitÚ) July 13, 1938, No. 20747. [Class 109] A taping head is pro. vided with an air shield for each spool or disc of tape consisting of a dished plate 4 enclosing the spool and extending to the vicinity of the point where the tape 5 makes contact with the core 2. A number of spools may be enclosed in a common shield.
