Abstract
493,682. Bedstead joints. REDMOND, J. J. March 5, 1938, No. 6955. Convention date, Sept. 17, 1937. [Class 52 (ii)] In a bracket A for the connection of angle iron side members F to the wooden ends of a bedstead, a hole G passing through the full thickness of the metal of the bracket is made an exact fit for the bolt C, and no recess or aperture is provided for the head of the bolt or for projections on the angle iron. Preferably a rib B is provided on the under side of the bracket against which the head of the bolt is jammed when the bolt is driven into the hole.
