493,583. Condensers. SIEMENSSCHUCKERTWERKE AKT.-GES. Nov. 3, 1937, No. 30126. Convention date, Nov. 3, 1936. [Class 37] In a high-power condenser consisting of sections of differing potential, each section 1 consists of at least one metal container supported on a base plate 5 by insulators 3, individual to each section, and relative to adjacent sections by members 8 extending between them, so that the sections, the insulators and the base plate form a rigid framework. In modifications, the lateral members 8 may comprise vertical insulators with an insulating cross piece or insulators inclined outwards and upwards. The members 8 may also be combined with the lead-in insulators 2. The base plates 5 may themselves be mounted on further insulators 6 on a base 7. The insulators 3 may be linked by integral strips at top and bottom to effect a more rigid mounting.
