[Class 38 (v)] The lid or cover a of a wall box has attached to it, by means of screws passing upwards from the inside of the lid, a projecting frame f comprising one or more sections each of which surrounds a hole b in the lid through which the dolly of a switch projects. The Figure shows a frame having two sections, and these protect the dolly of the switch from being inadvertently knocked. Frames with one or three sections may also be provided, and switch-boxes containing a larger number of switches than three may have a corresponding number of sections attached to the lid by grouping these different sized frames in suitable combinations, Figs. 8-10 (not shown).
