Abstract

491,145. Wrist-watch straps. JARVIS & CO., Ltd., S. V., and GUTTERIDGE, L. J. Feb. 23, 1937, No. 5376. [Class 43] Wrist straps adapted to be secured to the lugs of watches comprise two layers of leather or other material provided near the end with a slit a through one layer of the material, and with a strip of metal b<1> secured between the layers and having a free end b2 projecting towards the slit a. To secure the strap to the watch, the end of the strap is passed through the lug of the watch, the strap bent so that the end b<2> is inserted in the slit a, and the end of the strap bent back upon the body of the strap. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 372,253.
