Abstract

489,945. Containers for wireless valves &c. M-O VALVE CO., Ltd., COKER, H. G., and TURNER, J. F. Feb. 3, 1937, No. 3196. [Class 18] A wireless valve, electric lamp &c. is supported resiliently within a case by two or more groups of loops, 10, 11, the loops of each group crossing each other when looped over the article. One group may be attached to the lid as shown so that the tension is released when the lid is open. The loops may be turned by attaching the ends of short elastic members to the walls, or the member may be endless and secured by staples. One length may be arranged to form several loops. The members may be rubber cords or strips with or without textile coverings, rubber tubing or metal oiled springs with or without a covering of rubber tubing or may be a combination of elastic with inelastic material such as cord or webbing. The elastic members may be attached to a supporting body fixed permanently or removably in the case. When the cone is of the open type formed of battered laths, the elastic members may be secured to the outside of the cane. One form of group of loops may be constituted of two flat pieces of plywood secured to the walls each with cotton webbing secured to its ends, elastic tapes being secured to the webbing. The loops may also be arranged diagonally.
