Abstract

Washing-leaflets are made from a mixture of a sulphonate of a fat alcohol, or a derivative thereof, and a colloidally water-soluble alkyl ether, e.g. the dimethyl ether of cellulose sold under the trade name Colloresin. Perfumes or disinfectants may be added, and the leaflets may be put up in book form. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes the use of a mixture of 10-70 per cent of Colloresin F.S. with 90-30 per cent of the sulphonated fat-alcohol product sold under the trade name of Texapon, and specifies up to 2,0 per cent of essential oils of B.P. above 75 DEG C. as suitable perfumes, up to 1 per cent of formaldehyde and cresol as suitable disinfectants. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
