Abstract

<PICT:0487924/IV/1> A textile roller comprises a metallic core 11, a cover member 10 of resilient synthetic rubber-like material and a tubular fabric sleeve 12 between the cover member and the core, and secured to the latter by adhesive and to the cover member by a bond comprising a material identical or substantially identical with the material of the cover member. The cover member 10 may be of the vinyl polymer or synthetic rubber compositions defined in Specifications 398,091 and 457,937, [Group IX], respectively.
