484,481. Resilient mountings. GOLDSCHMIDT, M. Nov. 2, 1936, No. 29834. Convention date, Npv. 2, 1935. [Class 108 (iii)] An elastic suspension between a loading and a supporting part and particularly for aeroplane engines, includes a number of concentrically-arranged cylindrical metal rings and rubber disposed between the rings and vulcanized thereto, the metal rings being connected alternately to the loading and supporting parts. As shown, metal rings 6, 13 surround a spigot 1 in a housing 8. Alternate rings 6, 13, respectively, are connected to arms 2, 3 and 10, 11 carried respectively on the spigot and housing. A plurality of the suspension units may be disposed end-to-end to form a unitary mounting.
