484,462. Couplings fitted with fuses. SOC. SAVOISIENNE DE CONSTRUCTIONS ELECTRIQUES. Jan. 17, 1938, No. 1509. Convention date, Feb. 3, 1937. [Class 38 (i)] A terminal, for example for a condenser, is fitted with a fuse enclosed within the insulating mounting but visible. The ceramic &c. mounting 1 is formed with a transverse hole 3 with transparent windows at its ends through which the fuse wire 5 can be seen. The fuse is located within a hollow screw-threaded terminal 2 which is divided at the hole 3 so as to leave a gap which is bridged by the fuse. The mounting 1 is sealed to the terminal and to the plate 6 which may be the cover of a casing enclosing electrical apparatus.
