Abstract
483,264. Rotary engines. MABILLE, R. July 26, 1937, No. 20660. Convention date, Aug. 11, 1936. [Class 110 (ii)] In an engine or pump of the sliding-rocking vane type, wherein vanes 7 hinged to a centre shaft slide between segments 11 in an eccentric rotor 2, the radius b of the outer circle of the segments is equal to, or greater than, twice the thickness of a vane. Fig. 3 shows a diagram wherein AC equals the eccentricity between rotor and casing, and BC is equal to the radius of a circle described by the centres P of the segments in the rotor. CAB is a right-angle and the angle u subtended by lines BA, BC, is not greater than 25‹. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 442,418.
