[Class 108 (ii)] The mounting of the wheel described in the parent Specification is modified by forming the branches of the fork of the supporting wheel as leaf springs The tubular frame trailer a is adapted tc be clamped or secured to the towing vehicle by means of hooks b carried by levers having supporting castors c as shown, while the rear end of the trailer is supported by a wheel fork comprising a vertical pivot d, and laminated spring arms f carrying the road wheel e. Change of direction of the towing vehicle tends to rotate the wheel fork about its pivot d and the resilient arms f tend to absorb the lateral forces which would otherwise be imposed on the fork bearing.
