Abstract
482,115. Stamp mounts. ZIMMER & CO., GES. Sept. 21, 1937, No. 25612. Convention date, Sept. 22, 1936. [Class 11] In an envelope of transparent material, e.g. a fibreless cellulose derivative, for mounting stamps in albums, and having a tongue at the back for fixing'the envelope to the page of an album, the edge flaps 2, 3, 4, Fig. 2, which are folded on to the back of the blank and stuck together, are smaller than the front of the envelope and the tongue 5 is cut from the top flap 2, and the flap 2 and tongue 5 are gummed on the side which faces the album leaf. The flap 3 is gummed on the parts which are 'overlapped by the flaps 4. The envelope may be adapted for easy removal of the stamp by folding the flaps 4 on to the flap 3 and sticking them thereto, and using the whole of the flap 2 for attachment to the album leaf. On the other hand the flaps 2 and 3 may both be folded down and the flaps 4 stuck to the flap 3 and the side parts of the flap 2, thus sealing the envelope but leaving the hinge-tongue 5 for attachment to the album leaf. The envelope may be provided as a creased blank, and may be perforated so that it may be torn open after sealing.
