Abstract

Hydraulic cement, lime plaster, gypsum plaster, or white or other Portland cement is mixed with a quantity of water sufficient to bring about complete hydration, but not exceeding that amount by more than 10 per cent, latex or other dispersion of natural or synthetic rubber is added, and the whole allowed to set. Cork meal, wood flour or chips, or other fibrous filters may be added.
