[Class 112] In a sewing-machine, the feed dog 25 is operated by a rocker arm 33 arranged on the side of the driving shaft 10a opposite to a pair of puller rolls 50, 51, whereby the latter can be arranged close to the presser foot 52. The upper roll 51 is carried by a bar 76 pressed down by an adjustable spring 82 and adapted to be raised by a finger lever 87. The lower roll 50 is driven step-by-step through a known form of clutch, of which the driving member 60 is oscillated by an eccentric 66 on the shaft 10a, eccentric rod 68, rod 62, and slotted arm 61 on the member 60. The pivotal connection 63 between the links 68, 62 is carried by an idler link 65 swinging on a pivot 43, and the pin-andslot connection, between 61 and 62 enables the movements of the roll 50 to be adjusted. The feed dog 25 is driven in synchronism with the roll 50 from the shaft 10a through an eccentric rod 30 which lifts the feed bar 26, while the horizontal movement is effected by the arm 33 carried by a rock-shaft 34 and pivoted to an extension 28 of the feed bar 26. The shaft 34 is rocked by the shaft 10a through an eccentric rod 40 and link 46 adjustably connected to a. slotted link 48 on the shaft 34. The pivotal connection 41 between 40 and 46 is carried by an idler link 42 pivoted at 43.
