[Class 59] In a gyratory crusher having a driving wheel located over an eccentric bushing and carrying an unbalanced mass, the turning moment F, a produced in relation to the driving wheel 4 by the breaker cone 1 as a result of the action of centrifugal force, is equalized by a turning moment F, b acting in the opposite direction and produced by an unbalanced mass 6, and the centrifugal force F2 produced by an unbalanced mass 5 in the driving wheel 4 is equal to the sum of the centrifugal forces F, F1 which act in the opposite direction. The crusher may be supported on a yielding foundation or by means of ropes 8. The unbalanced mass 6 may be replaced by a corresponding recess in the opposite side of the eccentric 3.
