Abstract
476,419. Switch contacts. OSBORN, H. J., and OSBORN & SHARP, Ltd., H. J. Nov. 10, 1936, No. 20712/37. Divided application. [Class 38 (v)] A switch contact comprises a cup-shaped member 13 the rim 23 of which is adapted to be pressed against the plane surface 14 of a cooperating contact. A pair of such contacts 13 are shown mounted on a spring 12 fixed to the armature 15 of an electromagnetic switch. The surfaces 23, 14 may be arranged at a slight angle so that a sliding action of the contacts occurs on engagement.
