Abstract
471,842. Gyratory crushers. HUMBOLDT-DEUTZMOTOREN AKT.-GES. Jan. 12, 1937, No. 915. Convention date, Jan. 29, 1936. [Class 59] In a gyratory crusher the crusher head 5 partakes of two rotary movements, one due to the positive rotation of an eccentric bush 15 and the other due to the positive rotation of an eccentric bush 16. The head 5 is provided with a stepped crushing surface 39, the inclination of the steps meeting at the point O. The head is attached to a shaft 8 and is supported on a spherical thrust surface 9 connected to the head by lugs The eccentric bush 15 is driven by crown wheel 17 and pinion 19 driven by a shaft 18, and a larger wheel 24 of the shaft 1 meshes with teeth 23 on a wheel mounted on a stub axle 21, this wheel having internal teeth 22 in mesh with a wheel 20 on the eccentric bush 16. The concave 1 is provided with a stepped surface 40 and is pressed down by springs 35 onto a centring ring 2 which is adjustable by sectional shims 26.
