[Class 120 (i)] In order to arrange the clamping point of the detaching anc drawing - off device in a Heilmann comb. ing-machine, as close ly as possible to the top comb e, a stationary block i, Figs 1 and 2, is substituted for one of the pair of drawing-off rollers and is formed with a projecting lip o extending partly around the other roller. In one form the belt f which cooperates with a roller h is guided round the stationary block i, Fig. 1. A guide roller (or rollers) k may be provided. In a modification the block i is pivoted at n, Fig. 2, and is pressed downwards on to the belt f by a spring m.
