Abstract

Glass 120(1) A top comb for a rectilinear combing machine has the lower end of its body bent forwardly and downwardly to form a seat for bent needles located so as to have their depending ends lying wholly on the detaching roll side of the plane of the comb body and, when the comb is in its forward position, on the roll side of a line tangential to the rolls.
