[Class 132 (iii)] The device for uncoupling toy rail vehicles described in the parent Specification is modified in that a section of the track is depressably arranged so as to uncouple a vehicle by causing it to tilt. A section a of the track with rails S is connected to the remainder of the track by a flexible joint b and carries at its free end a rod g for bearing on one or other of the surfaces el, f of a sliding member e movable in a guide d and connected to a lever i pivoted at i<1> and carrying stops k and l. The lever i is rotated to move the section a by the stops k and l engaging with the prongs 5 and 5<1> of the member 3 pivoted at 2 on the spring controlled slide o guided on the pivot i<1> by a slot p and having recesses t with which engage arms u of a lever u<1> actuated by hand or by an electromagnet. When the lever u<1> is depressed the member e is moved so that the rod g contacts with the surface f, the track section a sinking and the coupling hook A of the truck on the section a being detached from the coupling bow B of the other truck. When the lever ul is released the slide o returns to its original position under the action of the spring r and the member e is moved so that the surface e<1> engages with the rod g to raise the track section a.
