Abstract

470,623. Television. IDEAL WERKE AKT. - GES. FUR DRAHTLOSE TELEPHONIE. March 9, 1937, No. 6881. Convention date, March 14, 1936. [Class 40 (iii)] A cabinet for a television receiver using a cathode-ray tube is in the form of a vertical prism of oval - like crosssection, the screen 3 and loudspeaker 4 being arranged one above the other on a small side of said prism and surrounded by a common frame 6 which also encloses the dial 5. The front end is formed with doors 1, 2 opening from projecting ends 16 of the cabinet which serve to keep out extraneous light. The cabinet is provided with openings 20 for ventilation and wheels 18, 19.
