[Class 40 (iii).] In a television receiver comprising a positive column luminous tube as described in the parent Specification, in order to obviate a tendency to oscillation in the circuit comprising the luminous tube and the bridged resistance 3, only a part of the resistance is bridged by the condenser 4, the unbridged portion exerting a damping effect.
