Abstract

469,845. Boxes for perfume-bottles &c. ENGLISH NEEDLE & FISHING TACKLE CO., Ltd., and ELSWORTH, E. M. March 27, 1936, No. 9115. [Class 18] A cardboard, wood, fibre, metal, &c. box for needle-cases, perfume bottles, chemists' sundries, &c. is provided with a tray 14 which is brought into inclined display position when the lid is opened. In the example shown, a cardboard box with a fabric hinge 18 has shallow partitions 9 formed by bending up cardboard sheets 11 or by securing strips to the walls and bottom, and the tray 14 which has several compartments runs on ledges 16 or on the top edges of the partition. The cardboard hinge 18 may be secured to the upper edge of the tray. The lid may bear advertising matter.
