Abstract

468,530. Fusible cut-outs. BRITISH INSULATED CABLES, Ltd., and BLADES, R. W. April 7, 1936, No. 10261. [Class 38 (i)] Contact clips 10, embracing a cartridge fuse 12 are attached by angle pieces 17 to an insulating bar 16 which is fastened to the handle 4 by a screw 22. When the bolts 14 are slackened, after the bar has been removed from the handle, the fuse 12 may be withdrawn axially from the contact clips 10, which are retained by the angle pieces 17 and shoulders 36 on the bar. The upper part 3 of the base is fastened to the lower part 2 by screws 28 passing through bosses 31 into projections 30. Sealing wires may be passed through holes 33 in lugs 32.
