Abstract
467,151. Resilient mountings. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. Nov. 19, 1936, No. 31714. Convention date, Nov. 21, 1935. [Class 108 (iii)] [Also in Group XXIV] A resilient mounting for a dynamo-electric or other machine subject to torsional oscillation consists of a supporting plate 15 secured to the machine transversely to its axis and held between recessed plates 19 secured to the support 11, resilient members 21 of rubber &c. being interposed between the plate 15 and the plates 19. The members 21 and the recesses in the plates are interrupted to give room for bushings 23 and screws 31 by which the plates 19 are secured to each other and the support 11. The plate 15 is provided with a flange 17 fitting on a portion 18 of the hub 12 of the machine and is secured to the machine by bolts 26 passing through spacing sleeves 29.
