Driving-arrangements.-A gramophone motor, which may be an electromotor, is suspended from the motor board by means of resilient strips on an elastic frame made of spring steel &c., rubber or like cushions being applied at the points of attachment. In the construction shown, the motor frame 1 is screwed to strips 3 of steel, which are attached to the motor board 9 by screws 8. Rubber cushions 5, 6 are used as shown. The strips 3 (of which a pair is provided) may be joined transversely to form a frame.
