385,508. Condensers. RITSCHER GES., 23, Mahlowerstrasse, Neuk÷lln, Berlin. May 9, 1932, No. 13375. Convention date, Dec. 2, 1931. [Class 38 (ii).] The plates of a variable condenser are secured on rods or spindles of softer metal by passing the rods 3, 5 of non-circular shape through non-circular holes 2, 6 in the spaced-out plates 1 and rotating them relative to the plates so as to cause the plates to cut grooves in the rods. Secure fixing may be effected by filling in the spaces by wedges or used metal or by external catches.
