Abstract

772,129. Vibration dampers. BLACKBURN & GENERAL AIRCRAFT, Ltd., KING, A., WINN, E. A., SAUNDERS, C. G., and PIPER, R. H. Oct. 17, 1955, No. 29583/55. Class 108(3). A vibration damper comprises an annulus 1 carried by two spaced resilient mounts 2, 3 on a part 6 carried by a mounting bracket 9. As shown, two annuli 1 are mounted on a single part 6. The latter is mounted in the bracket 9 by means of bushes 7, 8 of thermal insulation material. The mounts 2, 3 are of rubber and have equal stiffness in all directions. The annuli 1 may be of aluminium.
