[Class 146 (ii)] A pay or like envelope is provided with three pockets and is formed from a blank comprising a front section, a left-side section adapted to fold over and cover the front section and be secured by gum at the free vertical side, a right-side section adapted to fold over the left-side section and be secured thereto by gum at the free vertical side, a bottom section adapted to be folded over and secured by gum to the right-side section at both its free vertical sides, and a top closure flap, the front or bottom section being provided with a window. As shown, the section b has side and bottom extensions b<1>, b<2>, the former being gummed to the section c, and the latter being gummed to section d. Section c has a bottom extension c<2> which is gummed over extension b2, and section d has side extensions d<1>, d<2> which are folded inwardly and gummed to section c. Transparent windows a<1>, d<3> are provided in the sections a, d, finger-recesses b<3>, b<4> are formed in the sections b, d, and elongated apertures e<2>, e<2> are provided in the closure flap section e. In a modification, there are no extensions on any of the flaps. Silver coins are placed in one outside pocket, copper coins in the other outside pocket, and treasury notes in the centre pocket. The top corners of the notes are inserted through the apertures e<1>, e<2> in the closure flap before the latter is gummed down, so that the number of notes can thus be counted, and the coins can be checked by looking through the windows a<1>, d3.
