450,650. Envelopes. CRAIG, L. R., 145, West Hill, Putney, London. Feb. 13, 1936, No. 4368. [Class 146 (ii)] A pay or like envelope has two pockets and is formed from a single blank of paper or other material comprising a front portion A, a side portion B provided with a narrow extension B<1> which is folded over the front A and secured by an adhesive flap A<1> on the front A, a bottom portion C, to which the extension B<1> is gummed, provided with narrow side extensions C<1>, C<2>, which is folded over the side B to form the back of the envelope, the extensions C<1>, C<2> being folded and gummed to the front A, and a closing flap D extending from the front A having two apertures D<1>, D<2> therein, the front A having a transparent window A<2>, and the back portion C having, if desired, also a transparent window C<3> which is smaller than the window A<2>. Treasury notes are placed in the pocket between the portions B and C and arranged so that the ends project through the slots D<1>, D<2> for checking purposes, and cash is placed in the other pocket between the portions A and B. The back C is cut away at C<4> to facilitate the opening of the adjacent pocket.
