Abstract

516,962. Letter-sheets. OWEN; A. E. March 29, 1939, No. 9792. [Class 146 (ii)] A letter card comprises a single sheet, the inner side of which is used for writing on, the sheet having longi. tudinal fold lines providing two side portions 2, 3 foldable over the intermediate portion 1, which has an opening or window 5 through which an address on the first folded side can be read. A transverse fold line or lines are provided to allow the sheet to fold into a compact envelope the portion 1 having a flap 4 for sealing the sheet in the folded position. A slit 7 in the sheet receives, the flap 4 when the card is sealed, the flap may be tucked in between the 'folded portions or may be gummed as at 6. If on receipt a second address is written on the side portion not previously' addressed, then on reversing the order of folding of .the side-portions the second address will show through the aperture for re-posting. Any desired number of transverse-fold lines may be used according to the size of the sheet.
