[Class 7 (iv)] In ignition arrangements in which a continuously operative igniter is lodged in a subsidiary combustion chamber from which the flame of combustion reaches the main combustion space through a restricted orifice, this orifice k1 may open obliquely into the main space. Alternating or direct current may be supplied by an engine-driven generator, either with or without the interposition of an induction coil; and the igniter may be a sparking-plug, or of the incandescent type.
