466,640. Siphon-discharge water-wastepreventers. MORGENSTERN, H. July 27, 1936, No. 20743. [Class 26] A flushing cistern is made of lead or leadalloy and is provided at the bottom edge with a gutter 13 along three sides for collecting condensation. The bell 2, float 3, valve 4 and discharge-pipe 5 may also be made of lead or lead alloy. The travel of the bell is limited by a bracket 6 which may also receive a screw 7 for securing the cover of the cistern. The bell may be operated by a lever 9 mounted on a shaft 10 resting in one of two pairs of bearings 11. The gutter may receive disinfectant and the cistern may be nickel-plated.
