Abstract

466,526. Wireless receiving-apparatus. COLE, Ltd., E. K., and BRADFIELD, G. Jan. 31, 1936, No. 2912. [Class 40 (v)] In a receiver operating on two wave ranges reaction is provided and on the longer wave setting a reverse reaction to maintain stability is switched in. The Figure shows an arrangement in which the primary of the coupling transformer 2 is used for reaction being connected to the anode of the detector V2 by a condenser 4. On the longer wave band reverse reaction is introduced by condenser 5 connected to a secondary winding which is short circuited on the shorter wave range.
