[Class 80 (ii)] [Also in Group XXV] For securing a latch-follower on the central portion of a non-circular spindle, the central portion of the spindle is slit at 14 and is expanded within the latch-follower by means of a screw 15 introduced into the threaded bore 12 until the tapered end 17 enters and enlarges the central bore 13.
