Abstract
465,059. Liquid controllers. HILLESTAD, R. A. B. Oct. 29, 1935, No. 29883. [Class 38 (iii)] . [Also in Group XXXV] Electrodes 9 in a container are connected to an A.C. motor 1, driving a pump withdrawing fluid from the container, in such a way as to cause the speed of the motor to increase with rise of liquid level and vice versa. The electrodes may dip into electrolyte in a tank floating in the liquid. A switch 8 may connect the rotor circuit to a starting switch Z until the motor is up to speed, whereupon the switch 8 connects the electrodes to the rotor circuit. An interlock is included to prevent the operation of the starter unless the switch 8 be in its correct position.
