[Class 39 (iii)] In a domestic heater in which water flows through a spiral tenuous conduit surrounding electric heating elements a and then flows in the opposite direction through a coaxial tube b, the spiral conduit is of duplex form provided around the inner and outer surfaces of a spirally grooved tube g placed between two coaxial tubes b, i. Water from a tap enters at e<1> into both spiral channels and returns over the elements a to pass through a tube m to the bottom of a coaxial tube k from which it passes at the top to an outlet tube n. The tube b is closed at the top by a disc c and the tubes i, k are closed at the ends i<1>, k<1>. The spiral groove is formed in the tube g by rolling. The switch for the elements a may be thermostatic or interconnected with the water tap.
