Tubes.-Multiple tube spiral or helical coils are made by nesting two or more straight tubes one within the other and then coiling them simultaneously. The coiling may be effected while tho tubes are hot. The tubes are loose one within the other and may be separated by distance pieces. The space is used as a conduit for the passage of heating or cooling substances.
