463,124. Moulding dough. KREMMLING, [GEB. FUCHS], J. Sept. 19, 1935, Nos. 33052/36 and 33053/36. Convention dates, Nov. 27, 1934 and Aug. 6, 1935. Divided out of 25977 /35, 25978/35, and 463,049 under which a Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, April 9, 1936. [Class 87 (ii)] Relates to dough-moulding machines of the kind comprising a rotary drum 26 having moulding recesses with which dough is forced and from which the dough shapes are extracted by means of an endless discharge band 25 having a lap enveloping a portion of the periphery of the drum and supported by rollers adjacent the drum. In order to faciliate the discharge of the shapes, elastic means is provided for producing additional pressure of the discharge band against the drum over the length of contact therewith. In the form shown in Fig. 1, endless elastic elements 27 pass over the guide rollers 28, 29 beneath the band 25. The elements may be made of spiral wire or of rubber. In the form shown in Fig. 3, an endless band 35 of rubber passes over the guide rollers 36, 37, the tension being regulated by adjusting the bearings of the upper roller in a slot 38. The discharge band has a speed of travel less than the peripheral speed of the drum.
