461,564. Explosives. BOMBRINI PARODI-DELFINO. Aug. 16, 1935, No. 23083. Convention date, Aug. 18, 1934. [Class 9 (ii)] Tetra-acetate of pentaerythrite is used in explosives or in the surface layer thereof, with various other ingredients such as nitrocellulose, nitroglycerine, tetranitropentaerythrite, nitric esters of alkyl trimethylolmethanes, aromatic nitrocompounds, and ammonium nitrate. This tetra-acetate is stated to be obtained from pentaerythrite by treatment with acetic anhydride.
