Abstract
Cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine for use in explosives is prepared by the action of nitric acid on derivatives of the hypothetical cyclotrimethylenetriamine such as hexamethylenetetramine and the condensation product obtained from formaldehyde with methylamine.
